  • History of School:


    The Debe Presbyterian School was built in the year 1901 along the Siparia-Erin Road. It was originally known as the Canadian Mission Indian School. In 1907 a new and larger wooden building was built to accommodate the growing school’s population.
    The school was again rebuilt, but is now located in the Serenity Heights Housing Development at # 1 Periwinkle Drive Wellington Road, Debe. This building can accommodate 200 students. The majority of the students reside in the Cuchawan Trace and its immediate environs. Most of the parents belong to a lower socio-economic income bracket.  The staff resides in the outskirts of Debe. To date, the Debe Presbyterian School has a population of 93 students. The average attendance on a daily basis is approximately eighty (80) students.
