Welcome to Harmony Hall Presbyterian School. Our mission is to produce exemplary students to be cooperative, responsible, ethical, lifelong learners who have the knowledge and skills to succeed in our diverse and global society.

Our goal is to maximize learning opportunities through regular attendance, extended learning, and a lot of hard work as taken from the school’s motto.

Harmony Hall Presbyterian school is fortunate to have a highly qualified and caring group of teachers and support staff. The staff prides itself on our vision to develop the child for academic success and continues to move forward with the implementation of an ever changing curriculum.
We are committed to academic excellence but believe that teaching about respect, values, and social skills are equally as important.  We strive to create an environment where students feel safe, comfortable, and valued.

We believe that parents and teachers must work as partners through ongoing communication, clear expectations, and shared responsibility. We must thrive to create well-rounded students in all areas of study. There must be a balance with co-curricular and extra-curricular activity to aid in holistic education.

As we step into the 21st century education at harmony hall presbyterian I look forward for success in the future years. The mission and vision of this school seek to produce children of excellence in not only academics, but also in moral development and national pride.

Our staff believes in teamwork. Working with and supporting each other will enable Harmony hall Presbyterian school to be a safe and respectful place with high levels of learning.

Lastly, I look forward to working with you and your children this year. All of us here invite you to join in setting the stage for success for all of our students.

  • History of School:

The Harmony Hall Presbyterian school was started on the harmony hall sugar estate by the canadian missionaries to educate the east indian indentured labourers.

After world war 11, the school was relocated to its present site to facilitate the growing number of students, and was called the harmony hall c m school, referring to the canadian mission. The school is now under the jurisdiction of the presbyterian primary schools’ board of education and the “c m” has been changed to “presbyterian”.

In 1981, the annex was added to house principal’s office and the standard four (4) and five (5) classrooms. In 1993, part of it was converted to the school’s library.

Over the years, graduates of this school have made tremendous contributions to their communities, both locally and abroad. The dedicated teachers continue to provide meaningful educational experiences, which encourage the holistic development of all pupils.

Not only are academic needs fulfilled, but special attention is also given to the spiritual, emotional and cultural aspects of the children’s lives. The school’s itinerary is designed to uplift the community through the delivery of quality education by a vibrant principal and staff.
We assure you that the best care will be taken to promote the safety and well being of your child. We hope that a partnership with you dear parent/guardian would assist us in achieving our goal of providing worthy citizens for our beloved country.

Thank you for choosing the Harmony Hall Presbyterian school
